Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 2026

QuickToolbox is a set of free image, PDF, and developer tools. This page explains what happens to the files and text you process here, and what data third parties (like our ad provider) may collect.

No accounts

There is no signup, login, or user account anywhere on this site. We have no way to identify you as a returning individual beyond what your browser or our ad provider's cookies do (see below).

Image and PDF tools

When you use a tool like Compress, Resize, or Merge PDFs, the file you upload is sent to our server over HTTPS, held in memory only for the duration of processing that single request, and discarded immediately after the result is sent back to you. We do not write uploaded files to disk, log their contents, or keep any copy after the response completes.

Dev Tools (client-side)

Tools like JSON Formatter, Base64 Encode/Decode, UUID Generator, Timestamp Converter, Color Converter, Regex Tester, Markdown Preview, and URL Encoder/Decoder run entirely in your browser. Nothing you type or paste into these tools is ever sent to our server.

Cookies and ad data

This site may show ads served by Google AdSense. AdSense and its partners may set cookies (such as the DoubleClick/DART cookie) to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites. Before you respond to the consent banner shown on this site, only non-personalized ads are requested. If you accept, ads may be personalized based on your browsing activity; if you reject, non-personalized ads continue to be shown. You can change this choice at any time by clearing your browser's local storage for this site, and you can opt out of personalized advertising generally at Google Ads Settings. See Google's own advertising and cookie policy for details on how they use this data.

Server logs

We do not run application-level request logging. Our hosting provider may retain standard, short-lived infrastructure logs (such as IP address and timestamp) for security and operational purposes; we do not use this data for tracking or profiling, and we do not have a separate analytics system on this site.

Rate limiting

Processing endpoints (compress, resize, merge, etc.) are rate-limited per IP address to prevent abuse of the service. This limit is enforced in-memory and reset periodically — it is not used to build a profile of you.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will be revised. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
